Our Mission

"Unite the Ridgefield community by hosting a vibrant 4th of July celebration, fostering joy, connection, and traditions that honor the spirit of independence."

For over 100 years, Ridgefield has gathered to celebrate Independence Day with a parade, live music, food, and activities that bring neighbors together and welcome visitors from across the region.

What started as a small community gathering has grown into an event that draws more than 5,000 attendees each year, and it's run entirely by a passionate group of volunteers who love this town.

Plus 16 additional committee members and approximately 100 volunteers supporting the event.
